Vivian is currently on 12 months maternity leave (2019-2020).
Vivian Yung graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honors in 2010. She has worked in the Royal North Shore Hospital’s outpatient and orthopaedic departments and private practices before joining Sports Focus Physiotherapy in 2012. Vivian is located in our Wynyard Physiotherapy and Pilates and Willoughby Physiotherapy locations.
She has a special interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, running gait analysis as well as rehabilitation through Pilates and Hydrotherapy. She is also interested in evidence-based physiotherapy research and has conducted her honours research on low back pain and patient satisfaction.
In 2011, she presented her research paper at the International Congress of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy in Amsterdam.
Outside of work, Vivian enjoys going outdoors, camping and playing sports. She represented Australia in the World Kendo Championships in 2006, 2009 and 2012 and achieved a top 16 individual result at the last two World Championships. She was also a NSW state representative in table tennis and was invited to compete at the Sydney 2000 Olympic selection trial.
